Group Disability Insurance

Group disability insurance is a fairly common employee benefit. Often people will assume that if they have a policy through work, they will be fully covered. Group insurance policies are inexpensive disability policies designed to cover a large segment of people which can lead to gaps in coverage. Group disability plans are commonly tied to your employment which means if you leave you won't take the coverage with you.

Individual Disability Insurance

Offers more comprehensive coverage compared to a group disability policy. Individual disability policies can be customized to fit your specific needs. Individual policies can be used in conjunction with a group plan to fill in the gaps or act as a stand alone plan.

Individual Disability Plans can cover the following:

  • Retirement plan contributions
  • Student Loans
  • Business Loans
